Supplier Quality Engineer
RiverSide Electronics, Ltd. is seeking an individual to interface directly with Purchasing and Engineering to analyze and improve Supplier quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Supplier audits
- Work with Suppliers to improve their quality by providing technical support
- Drive Supplier Corrective Actions back to Suppliers
- Generate quality Supplier report card
- Interface with material review board
- Perform tasks related to accepting/rejecting brokered parts
- Work with receiving/inspection:
- Complete Gage R&R analysis
- Approve material test specifications and sample plans
- Become company expert on receiving and inspection tools (CMM, Optical Comparator, Niton Analyzer)
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 2-4 years circuit board assembly experience or manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge in use of statistical tools (Gage R&R, Pprocess Capability, SPC)
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003
- Ability to read Customer drawings and material specification sheets
- Good communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S - a plus
